Agreena Carbon Project
Head of Business Development & Events at Agreena

About
Across Europe, Agreena is powering the transition to regenerative agriculture through AgreenaCarbon — the world's largest soil carbon project verified under Verra's VM0042 methodology, and the first large-scale arable agriculture project to achieve this milestone. The programme works with thousands of farmers across 4.5 million hectares of arable land in 20 European markets, spanning countries from the UK and Denmark to Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, and Spain.
At its core is a proprietary digital measurement, reporting and verification (MRV) engine, combining satellite imagery and AI to independently verify practices such as reduced tillage, cover cropping, and crop residue management — reducing paperwork for farmers while giving corporate buyers audit-ready data for Scope 3 reporting.
By connecting farmer income, corporate sustainability targets, and international climate finance, Agreena is proving that regenerative agriculture can scale credibly across an entire continent — offering a working model for how climate-smart farming, verified data, and market trust can move together at scale, region by region.
