Sacred Valley Tech is a Cologne-based startup (UG) developing Sally — an all-in-one circular fashion platform that makes sustainable clothing consumption effortless for consumers and profitable for fashion brands.

The fashion industry generates 92 million tonnes of textile waste every year. Most garments are discarded after just a few uses, while the infrastructure to give them a second, third, or fourth life remains fragmented and inaccessible. Sacred Valley Tech was founded to fix exactly that.

Sally brings together every circular action a consumer can take with a garment — swapping, reselling, repairing, donating, upcycling, and recycling — into a single seamless experience. Instead of navigating a patchwork of partial solutions, users get one place to do it all, with AI-powered guidance suggesting the most impactful circular path for each item.

For fashion brands, Sally introduces an entirely new after-sale revenue model built on the EU's incoming Digital Product Passport (DPP) regulation, which will be mandatory for all textile brands by 2030. Rather than treating the DPP as a compliance burden, Sacred Valley Tech turns it into a business opportunity: every time a brand's garment circulates through Sally — whether resold, repaired, or recycled — the original brand earns a share. Brands gain full supply chain transparency, regulatory compliance, and a new income stream, all from one platform.

Founded by Paolo Coda Rivera and Luca Elias Urlacher, Sacred Valley Tech started in Italy before strategically relocating to Cologne, NRW — drawn by the region's strong startup ecosystem, sustainability-oriented economic policy, and access to investors and corporate networks. The company has received notable recognition including grants and awards, and is currently in the MVP/seed stage with an active beta and live product.
