1Tn metal containers tracking

Production Manager at PURATOS

Sils, Spain

About

The objective of this project is to identify a cost‑efficient and highly robust system capable of enabling real‑time tracking of our metal containers throughout their operational lifecycle.

The system must provide continuous monitoring of two critical indicators for our business processes: geolocation data and temperature.

Accurate geolocation data is essential to ensure efficient retrieval and logistical management of the containers.

Temperature monitoring is equally critical, as the products transported within these containers are highly sensitive to thermal variations and require strict environmental control.

The proposed solution must demonstrate high mechanical and thermal resistance, as the containers undergo intensive cleaning procedures upon return. These procedures include high‑pressure hot water washing and steam‑based pasteurization cycles.

Furthermore, the system must support seamless integration with our ERP platform (SAP), ensuring reliable data exchange and compatibility with existing operational workflows.
