Advanced Materials & Semiconductor Thermal Management

Additive Analytics is seeking approximately £380k of equity investment to accelerate the commercialisation of its advanced-material manufacturing technologies.

Increasing power densities across semiconductors, AI hardware and power electronics are creating growing thermal-management challenges. Advanced materials can provide significantly improved performance, but manufacturing these materials into functional components remains a major barrier to adoption.

Additive Analytics develops the material and laser-processing methodologies, proprietary manufacturing datasets and know-how required to manufacture challenging advanced materials into high-performance functional devices.

Our current capabilities include additively manufactured copper thermal-management systems, with development progressing into copper-diamond composites and multi-material conductor, insulator and semiconductor architectures. This work is supported by three patent-pending technology families and a growing portfolio of proprietary manufacturing data and know-how.

Our initial commercial focus is semiconductor and AI hardware thermal management, with wider applications across power electronics, automotive, aerospace and defence.

The investment will support the transition from technology development into commercial growth, including customer programmes, technology demonstration, commercial partnerships and continued development of our advanced-material manufacturing capability.
