DI Georg List is responsible for Corporate Strategy at AVL List GmbH across three strategic business units, leads AVL´s research & technology and initiated AVL’s start-up activities “Creators Expedition” and the activities for ADAS/AD testing and validation solutions.

AVL develops innovative and affordable solutions for a vision of climate-neutral mobility ranging from battery- and fuel cell electric technologies to hybrid in all configurations. AVL’s offerings range from simulation, virtualization, automation to vehicle software incl. cybersecurity or autonomous driving. As a fast growing, innovation driven company in a dynamic and competitive industry, AVL invests in R&D for clean and affordable mobility.

Georg List holds a Master (Dipl. Ing.) in mechanical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zürich) and an MBA from The Wharton School,University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to AVL, Georg List was partner at Booz Allen Hamilton. He specialized in innovation management across automotive, aerospace and renewables, and led the European InnovationGroup. Before that he worked with SGS S.A. in Europe and Asia. During his studies he also worked with Mazda Motor Corp.’s Technical Research Center in Hiroshima, Japan.
