Nebbiolo d’Alba D.O.C. “Cascinotto”

The Nebbiolo "Cascinotto" vineyard is located in the municipality of Diano d'Alba close to Serralunga d'Alba. Our production of Nebbiolo Cascinotto began in the 1990s: from the beginning, careful cultivation of the vineyard was followed by further thinning of the bunches in the pre-veraison phase with the aim of obtaining complete and correct maturation, not only in terms of sugar but also polyphenolic. The grapes obtained are harvested in the second ten days of October and fermented for 10 days with a submerged cap; the wine is then aged in French barriques for 20 months.
