BARBERA DEL MONFERRATO DOC "CAPPELLA III"

The Cappella III is one of the chapels of the monumental complex of the Sacred Mount of Crea, which is included in the UNESCO world heritage list. In the 17th Century, the founder of the wine growing estate, Giorgio Tenaglia, already sponsored the artistic decoration of the chapel.

Today the chapel needs to be restored and therefore we decided to follow the red thread of Giorgio Tenaglia and give part of the proceeds coming from the sale of this wine to the restoration work of the Chapel Nr. 3. The Barbera grapes used for this wine are grown exclusively in the wine region Monferrato and are vinified in stainless steel tanks.

The bouquet reminds us of red fruits. The taste is silky, balanced and rich with elegant hints of spices. Perfect when served at 17°-18°C, it is suitable for pasta dishes, white and red meat, medium aged cheese.
