About
The Gdynia Maritime School provides professional maritime and offshore training for seafarers, offshore personnel and companies operating in the maritime industry.
Our courses combine theoretical knowledge with practical exercises conducted using advanced maritime simulators and virtual reality technology. This allows participants to practise operational procedures, emergency situations and decision-making in realistic, safe and controlled conditions.
Our training centre is equipped with three Kongsberg simulator bridges used for Dynamic Positioning training and a wide range of other navigation, manoeuvring and vessel-operation courses. The simulator configuration enables individual and team-based exercises involving different vessel types and complex operational scenarios.
We also operate the world’s only certified jack-up simulator capable of simulating both 3-leg and 4-leg jack-up units. It supports realistic training in jack-up operations, positioning, lifting and lowering procedures, emergency response and decision-making in challenging offshore conditions.
Training is delivered by experienced instructors with practical maritime and offshore industry knowledge. We provide courses for individual participants as well as dedicated training programmes tailored to the needs of corporate clients.
We welcome cooperation with shipowners, crewing agencies, offshore contractors, training organisations and other companies operating in the maritime and offshore sectors. For more information about our courses, simulator availability, group bookings or cooperation opportunities, please contact us.
