Welcome to the Welding, Joining and Manufacturing Event and Exhibition

As the premier event for welding, joining and allied technologies in the UK, WeldJoinExpo 2026 will bring together experts and professionals from across industry for keynote speeches, presentations, and industry workshops, including valued input from bodies including Make UK and Make UK Defence, the Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI), and the Nuclear Industry Association (NIA). There will also be an exhibition from TWI and Make UK, NIA and ATI Members during the two days.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE EVENT

As the premier event for welding, joining and allied technologies in the UK, WeldJoinExpo 2026 will bring together experts and professionals from across industry for keynote speeches, presentations, and industry workshops, including valued input from bodies including Make UK and Make UK Defence, the Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI), and the Nuclear Industry Association (NIA). There will also be an exhibition from TWI and Make UK Members during the two days.

We will also be hosting the East of England Skillweld regional finals during WeldJoinExpo 2026, which are aimed at trainee/apprentice welders working and/or training in the welding industry at level 2-3 or higher level.

A programme of informative workshops has been designed to engage a range of industry areas. These workshops encompass both pre-booked, sector specific meetings for Industrial Members as well as open access sessions covering industries and capabilities.

In addition, there will be opportunities to network with other attendees and speak with experts from TWI and The Welding Institute, including organised opportunities where we will introduce Industrial Members with similar interests. There will also be opportunities to take tours of our facilities and those attending the expo will also receive an event pack including an exhibitor guide, TWI brochure and event gift.

Finally for attendees, there will be a chance for you to demonstrate your skills in an augmented reality welding competition.

    Create a clear and concise profile to raise your visibility on the b2match platform.

    Your profile should describe who you are, what you can offer to potential partners, and who you want to meet. Don’t forget to add a pitch, biography, your skills and interests to your profile. A good networking profile will generate significantly more meeting requests.

  3. Browse profiles of attendees

    Go to the participants list to find out who you could meet at the event. Use the filters on the right or browse through your AI Profile recommendations in the Top Matches section to narrow down your selection and find the most suitable collaboration partners that match your goals and interests. This allows you to maximize your chances of making valuable connections and achieving successful outcomes at the event.

  4. Send & receive meeting requests and messages

    Browse participant profiles and send meeting requests to those you want to meet during the event. Send out messages to interesting participants to introduce yourself and initiate conversations even before the event to establish stronger connections.

  5. My schedule and meetings overview

    Access your meetings in My Schedule or Meetings, where you have your complete schedule for the event, as well as the list of your meetings.
