About me
Ted is Development Lead at the Royal Docks Management Authority (RoDMA), the non-profit organisation which is the custodian of the water of London's Royal Docks, the largest impounded body of water in the UK. His focus is on creating a new vision for long-lasting developments on the water of Royal Victoria Dock - with a series of interventions which will make it easier for more people to spend time by, on and in the water.
Before working at RoDMA, Ted worked at Oxford City Council through Public Practice, a programme for placing private sector built environment professionals into the public sector, as a project manager and leader making changes to public realm which encouraged more economic, healthy and sustainable activity. These changes included streets, a historic market and a branch rail line. He created and ran the council's Inclusive Transport & Movement Focus Group and he initiated the council's work on child-friendly cities, through the LSE Cities Urban95 Academy programme.
