I am Project Manager with 20 years working experiences and concentration on subjects of social innovations, quarantee for youth and education modernisation.

My organisation

We are the Banská Bystrica Self-Governing Region (BBSR) , located in the heart of Slovakia. As a regional government, we are dedicated to ensuring the well-being and development of our community. Through strategic planning and collaboration with entities of quadriple helix principle, we strive to create work opportunities, improve quality of public services and support key stakeholders of regional development – municipalities to create socially inclusive region tackling and mitigating crisis consequences (COVID-19, aid for war refugees, energy crisis) in an effective way. BBSR is involved also in international cooperation projects aiming in strenghtening  mutual relations and  developing common tools and strategies for risk management under the Program Interreg HUSK in the project called InReReDiRM on capacities coordination needed  for responding, mitigating or preventing dangerous effects of crisis situations. Since January 2023, BBSR  implements VELUX project HELP UKRAINE concentrating on the most efficient instruments supporting social inclusion of Ukrainian refugees in Banska Bystricia region. Among them the most inevitable are the system of social services provision to a specific group of clients - refugees, and the system of networking and coordinating the support from different organisations providing help to Ukrainian refugees in the region. These bast pracitices we offer for sharing with potential project partner. and organising local language courses for specific groups of UA refugees. BBSK has successfully implemented several regional umbrella coordination models (e.g., in tourism, social services, career guidance).  Among them the project Community - based social service centers as a tool of multilevel partnership for providing long-term care in Slovakia that was implemented in cooperation with partners the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the SR, Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia and Cristiania University College in Oslo Bergen. BBSR is looking for project partners interested in cooperation in the field of exchange of experiences of social innovations that relate to organisational structure of providing support to war refurees or regional development planning, social services providing and crisis situation preventing aiming in designing the common strategy how to tackle with war refugees and promote social cohesion in our countries. We prefer but do not rectrict the country of partner origin to be from Czech republic as our countries have many similar features. But also partners from other EU member countriers are welcome.

About me

I am Project manager of VELUX project HELP UKRAINE iomplemented by BBSR. I have 20 years of working experiences in drafting and implementing projects co-financed by public sources and 25 years of experiences in communicating in English language in international projects meetings and from my work post of Economic Expert at the US Embassy in Bratislava Slovakia within the period 1994-1998.

I graduated the Economic University in Bratislava, Slovakia in 1992. In 2004, I completed the course of project management of EU funded projects and since that time I work as a Project Manager of projects oriented for social inclusion of disadvantageous groups of people on labour market and in society, best practice and innovation exchanges in the field of social economy, employment support, social innovation, education innovation or life-long learning.

I am ready to participate in this project as the project coordinator and communicate with our partners organisations.
