My organisation
The Cascina Guido Berta company was founded in 1997 in San Marzano Oliveto in the province of Asti, we are in the heart of the Monferrato wine-growing landscapes declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Guido Berta runs the farm of the same name with passion and energy, he learned the art of winemaking from his parents and thanks to some valuable professional experiences gained in local wineries he managed to start his winemaking career at a very young age. The wines are sincere, straightforward and in their simplicity they bring out a sober and bold complexity. The main production is based on Barbera, the Nizza Docg “Canto di Luna” is the spearhead of the red wine range, because in addition to Barbera Guido produces two white wines, an excellent Chardonnay and an equally interesting Moscato d'Asti.
