iDivini is a modern winery in Piedmont, nestled on the Monferrato hills within the UNESCO World Heritage area, surrounded by ancient vineyards. Our estate is located in the charming village of Isola d’Asti, just a stone’s throw from Asti, with all our vineyards situated right next to the winery. Some of our vines are between 50 and 65 years old, a true testament to the region’s rich winemaking heritage. Founded in 2018, iDivini blends the international entrepreneurial spirit of Koen and Anna with the deep-rooted expertise of our local team. Together, we have crafted an elegant and modern winery that respects tradition while embracing innovation. As an artisanal producer, we focus on creating fine wines with distinct character. We carefully refine each wine according to its unique potential, using innovative techniques to transform our high-quality grapes into contemporary expressions of the Monferrato terroir. Our philosophy is rooted in honoring the region’s native grape varieties, including Barbera, Freisa, Cortese, Pinot Nero, and Nebbiolo—some of which are slightly forgotten gems. We currently produce ten wines, all within the official appellation system. The renowned Barbera d’Asti DOCG is our flagship, while our Freisa d’Asti DOC and Piemonte DOC Cortese are also widely appreciated. At iDivini, we challenge conventional winemaking by bringing an international perspective to our craft. This has led us to experiment with innovative styles, such as aging Freisa d’Asti in large oak barrels, giving Cortese a short skin maceration followed by oak maturation, and crafting a bold Monferrato Rosso DOC blend with an international appeal. To add versatility to our portfolio, we have also developed a traditional method sparkling wine using Pinot Nero and Cortese, perfect for starting an evening on a fresh note. And for those who appreciate a refined finish, our Vermouth Rosso di Torino, made from oak-aged Barbera, offers a complex and aromatic experience.
