Francesca Rabino

The F.lli Rabino company was founded in 1907 and today there are 5 generations. The first 2 generations grow grapes and sell them to industries. Around the 50s the two brothers Tommaso and Vincenzo began to make wine and to distinguish themselves from the others by producing quality wines, ready to drink and making themselves known in much of northern Italy. They have always taken care of the relationship with the customer who comes to visit the company and meet the producer directly, transforming a business meeting into something pleasant and friendly. Today, Tommaso's son, Andrea, with his wife Annalisa and their 3 daughters Francesca, Chiara and Agnese proudly carry on the style and attitude with which it was born. It is located in Santa Vittoria d'Alba, in the Roero to the left of the Tanaro river, an area characterized by medium-textured, permeable soil and a continental, dry climate. The 18 hectares of vineyards owned by the company are flanked by 20 hectares planted with hazelnut groves. The wines produced are Roero Arneis, a white grape variety typical of this area from which an important wine with characteristics similar to a red wine is born, Langhe Favorita, a rare, delicate and at the same time very summery white, Moscato d'Asti Santa Vittoria d'Alba characterized by the typical hint of sage that goes well with the hazelnut cake. The red wines are Roero obtained from the Nebbiolo grape variety, the most representative DOCG of the area and most prestigious, Nebbiolo d'Alba great Piedmontese red wine and Barbera d'Alba characterized by the fruit very present on the nose and in the mouth. The company is certified eco-sustainable. For 5 years it has not used systemic products in the vineyard in respect of the natural environment in which it is located and nature. It is an aspect in which the Rabino family believes a lot and takes care to produce a quality product as genuine as possible.
