thank you for your interest in our business delegation from the German Capital Region. Located at the heart of Europe, the federal states of Berlin and Brandenburg together form the German Capital Region, home to more than six million people. The unique combination of the global city of Berlin and the surrounding state of Brandenburg makes this metropolitan region truly distinctive. The close integration of the two states in areas such as business, labor market, transport, science, industry, energy, and the environment is unparalleled in Germany.

For the Brandenburg Economic Development Agency (WFBB), it is both an honor and a pleasure to organize a delegation from the German Capital Region on this mission to the Brazilian states of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Brazil-Brandenburg economic relations offer significant growth potential. The EU-MERCOSUR agreement creates new opportunities for economic and technological cooperation. Shared ambitions in innovation, decarbonization and sustainable transformation open prospects for cooperation in green technologies, renewable energy and advanced industries.
