Seeking Singapore biotech partner for AI and quantum-enabled genomics-driven drug discovery

Zaiku Group is a UK deep-tech SME developing computational approaches at the intersection of artificial intelligence, genomics, quantum computing and privacy-enhancing technologies.

We are seeking a Singapore-based biotech, genomics, precision medicine or drug discovery company to jointly develop a project for the UK-Singapore Collaborative R&D Call 2026.

Our proposed direction is the development and validation of computational methods for genomics-driven therapeutic discovery. This could include the use of genomic and multi-omic data to identify disease biology, prioritise therapeutic targets and generate drug discovery or repurposing hypotheses, combining AI with hybrid quantum-classical methods where these can provide measurable value. Privacy-preserving approaches may also be incorporated where sensitive or distributed biomedical data are involved.

Zaiku can contribute expertise in AI/ML, genomics, hybrid quantum computing, privacy-enhancing technologies and computational platform development, building on previous UK-funded R&D in quantum machine learning and genomics.

We are particularly interested in partners able to contribute one or more of the following: disease-area expertise; genomic, multi-omic or other relevant datasets; drug discovery or biotechnology capabilities; biological or experimental validation; precision medicine expertise; or routes to clinical and commercial translation.

We are looking for genuine collaborative R&D rather than a subcontracting relationship. The precise scientific scope, work packages, IP arrangements and commercialisation strategy would be developed jointly with the Singapore partner.
