Quantum Valley Ideas Lab (QVIL) is an independent, applied research and development lab, focused on Quantum technology and sensing use cases with near term market potential. QVIL invests in the people and infrastructure required to develop innovative new Quantum ideas and IP into commercial ready prototypes that can form the basis of innovative products and start-up businesses. QVIL is recognized as one of the leaders in the field of Quantum Radio Frequency (RF) sensing, and has 4 concurrent research projects underway across RF sensing, Quantum enhanced radar, Quantum navigation, and atomic clocks.

SPECIFICS

1. Focused on application driven quantum research and commercialization with a team of 40 researchers and over 40 patents granted in RF sensing, inertial navigation and atomic clocks. We focus on the key barriers to technology adoption and commercialization enabling our spin-outs with market ready technology and partners.

2. Recognized leader in Rydberg atom Radio Frequency (RF) research and applications with a spin-out commercializing our technology for 5G telecom network operations and defence use cases.

3. Growing portfolio of research and commercialization expertise (quantum optics, atomic vapour cells, fabrication, signal processing) and patents across a broad range of quantum technologies and use cases to support collaboration with partners to drive technology towards our technology towards commercial applications.
