Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) is a not-for-profit, member-owned trade association representing UK-based maritime companies to major companies, international markets and governments. Its membership covers all the maritime supply chain, from shipyards and major system providers to specialist component manufacturers, as well as organisations in marine science, technology, academia as well as the rapidly growing fields of maritime autonomy and digital technology.
