FARE Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India. My research focuses on Lattice Structures Design for Bone Tissue Engineering application.
Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur), is a premier public engineering institution established in 1959 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is renowned for its excellence in engineering, science, humanities, management, and medicine.
I am currently a FARE (Fellowship for Academic and Research Excellence) Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur, India), under the supervision of Prof. J. Ramkumar and Prof. Kantesh Balani. I have submitted my Ph.D. thesis in Mechanical Engineering at IIT Kanpur, under the same supervision.
My research focuses on Triply Periodic Minimal Surfaces (TPMS) based Lattice Structures Design for different applications, especially for Bone Tissue Engineering applications. I'm highly focused on Synthesis and Processing of Bioactive Glass, and Bio-Scaffold Fabrication using 3D Printing Techniques. I am proficient in COMSOL Multiphysics (for FEM and Fluid Flow Simulation), which enhances my simulation capabilities in research and development.
I also have extensive experience in Excimer Laser Micromachining of Silicon, Fabrication of Microfluidic Devices (tesla valve for mixing two fluids at the microscopic level and cluster chip for collecting cancer and tumor cells), and Micromachining of ITO Sheet with different unit cells to maintain the balance between electrical performance and optical transmittance (ISRO-supported project).
