Hydrogen Cluster Finland

Hydrogen Cluster Finland is the national industry association for Finland's renewable hydrogen and Power-to-X economy. We bring together companies across the hydrogen value chain – electrolyser and technology providers, project developers, industrial offtakers, logistics and infrastructure operators – together with relevant public authorities, to accelerate the build-out of a competitive Finnish hydrogen sector.

Finland offers exceptionally abundant and low-cost renewable electricity, an established industrial gas and chemicals base, and a fast-growing project pipeline of around 60 hydrogen and P2X projects, several already under construction or in operation, targeting roughly 1.5 million tonnes of clean hydrogen and e-fuel production and tens of billions of euros in investment.

Our work covers policy advocacy and regulatory tracking (including permitting, safety and market rules), member coordination, and international outreach, connecting Finnish hydrogen technology and project developers with partners, customers and investors abroad. We represent Finland's hydrogen ecosystem in international forums, including the COP climate conferences, and actively support cross-border partnerships, pilot projects and technology cooperation with international actors interested in the Nordic hydrogen market.
