Turkish-Finnish Networking Event

Join us in shaping the future of Europe’s low-carbon industry and sustainable water management!

This high-level networking event brings together experts from public organisations, industrial and technology companies, research institutes, and universities from Finland and Turkey. The goal is to create and deepen partnerships that will materialise as innovative research and innovation projects.

• Low-carbon solutions in energy-intensive sectors: steel, cement, fertilisers, aluminium, mining, critical raw materials and related industries

• Sustainable and efficient water management in industrial value chains

• Joint RDI opportunities in EU programmes, in particular Horizon Europe

Why is cooperation between Turkey and Finland beneficial?

• Turkey is one of Europe’s largest industrial and manufacturing hubs and an associated country to Horizon Europe – and it is preparing to host the COP31 conference

• Finland is a forerunner in clean technologies, digital solutions and sustainable water management

• Together, the two countries form highly promising partners for joint research, technology validation, market deployment and scaling of climate- and resource-efficient innovations

This matchmaking platform is used to facilitate the networking, discussion and meeting scheduling — not only during the event but also prior to it. Register, see who else is participating and send meeting invitations to those you wish to have a 20-minute 1to1 onsite meeting with. You can also send messages to other matchmaking participants. Note that only transnational meetings are enabled.

Please note that the number of participants is limited. The organizing institutions reserve the right to limit the number of participants and to prioritise organisations whose profiles and interests are most closely aligned with the themes of the event.
