The 2026 Tunisian-Italian Economic Forum is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad (Tunisia) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (Italy), in partnership with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation (APII), and the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA), as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen economic, trade, and technological relations between Tunisia and Italy.
The event will take place on 24 and 25 June in Tunis, at the headquarters of UTICA, starting at 1:30 p.m. (registration) on 24 June.
In addition to institutional remarks, the programme will include a plenary session focusing on trade and investment opportunities between the two countries, as well as on financial support mechanisms for bilateral economic partnerships.
This will be followed by thematic panels dedicated to the following sectors:

Energy and digital transition;

Advanced industry, with a focus on pharmaceuticals, automotive, technology, and critical raw materials;

Innovation and sustainability in traditional sectors, including textiles, agriculture, and aquaculture;

Transport and logistics infrastructure.
The programme will also feature a session presenting Tunisia’s transport and logistics infrastructure development plans and the opportunities they may create for Italian companies.
The proceedings on 24 June will conclude with a networking reception.
The morning of the following day, 25 June, will be dedicated to B2B meetings between companies from the two countries.
