The invention refers to a nanocomposite coating material with antimicrobial and consolidant properties (demonstrated by the improvement of the mechanical properties) for archaeological wood with excess moisture (known in the specialized literature as waterlogged wood), material constructed of two components: an antimicrobial component (substituted apatitic material with various heavy metals) that gives protection against biodeteriogens and a polymeric component that gives the compound compatibility with the support material on which it is applied (archaeological wood) and improves the mechanical properties (consolidation) and to a method of obtaining it_._
