SONOMAG addresses the following applications and challenges: Automotive Interior Consumer Electronics Home Appliances Conventional loudspeaker drivers are very bulky and heavy, so they often cannot be used or positioned as required and desired (e.g., car roof lining, TV set housing) Conv. speaker drivers are standardized components wich cannot be adapted to specific applications and environments Weight and material diversity of conv. speakers contribute negatively to the sustainability and the life cycle assessment of the overall product Manufacturing of conv. speakers and integrating them into application environments is complex, leading to cost, quality, and supply chain challenges The SONOMAG solution features: Flat, light-weight loudspeaker drivers that are natively integrated into and optimized for the application (e.g., car interior panels, TV housing) Lean 2K injection moulding and very few assembly steps Rather simple configuration, easy to manufacture, short supply chain SONOMAG further offers: Acoustic system design Magnetic system design Material science & manufacturing solutions Advanced virtual acoustics solutions made feasible by the SONOMAG flat speaker drivers
