Permaculture as a scalable business and living laboratory - seeking technology partners
Agrifood Enthusiast, Business Development Manager
Sofia, Bulgaria
About
My project is to develop a self-sustaining regenerative permaculture farm in a mountainous region that demonstrates a new model for profitable small-scale agriculture.
The farm will integrate multiple complementary production systems, including blueberries, beekeeping, honey-producing herbs and trees, free-range chickens for egg production, and biodiversity-enhancing vegetation. Rather than relying on a single crop, the business model is based on diversified income streams that increase resilience while improving ecosystem health.
The farm will operate using circular resource principles by producing renewable energy through solar panels, harvesting rainwater for irrigation, composting all organic waste, and minimizing external inputs. Precision agriculture technologies, sensors, and data-driven decision-making will be used to optimize productivity, resource efficiency, and environmental impact.
Beyond producing high-quality food, my ambition is to create a commercially viable blueprint that demonstrates regenerative farming can compete economically with conventional agriculture. In the long term, the model should be measurable, replicable, and supported by modern agrifood technologies that enable more farmers to transition toward sustainable production.
I am looking for technology partners with expertise in precision agriculture, IoT, AI, sensing technologies, water management, renewable energy, or farm automation to help develop and validate innovative solutions within this real-world farming model.
