SOLEYE Ltd. is a Hungarian SME specialised in astronomical optical instrument development. Are activities include:

1. solar telescope development, manufacturing, selling;

2. custom optical system design;

3. space weather related R&D.

We provide primary optics ranging from 150–400 mm in diameter with a resolution of 0.2–1 arcseconds. Optimized for specific spectral lines (including Sodium, Potassium, Helium, and Calcium), our telescopes deliver elite performance with minimal thermal loading—making them ideal for photosphere and chromosphere imaging. We also specialize in custom optical filters featuring multi-layer Ti3O5-SiO2 coatings characterised by precise energy control, extra sharp AR transition spectral curves and high spectral resolution. In 2025 we developed CryoSOL, a passive thermal control system utilizing space-grade materials, designed and meticulously tested for the telescope optical tube assembly.

SOLEYE specializes in “made-to-order” solutions. In 2025, we successfully delivered three landmark custom observatory equipment projects including a heavy-load, double-stack H-alpha SOLEYE 300telescope and a dual-band SOLEYE 300 development. Our expertise extends to high-precision coatings, such as Calcium-K (CaK) primary mirror project for a prominent solar observer in 2024.

Since 2024, we have collaborated with the Hungarian Solar Physics Foundation to develop the SAMNet-SOLEYE Magneto-Optical Filter research telescope. This dual-telescope system, optimized for Potassium and Sodium lines, serves as a ground-based monitor for the Sun’s lower chromosphere to track flare formation. SOLEYE is also integrated into international space weather efforts: ESA EXPRO+ Project: Following a successful tender for “Commercial Applications of Space Weather Data”, our team is contributing to a 12-month enabling study.
