Institute for Sensors and Electronics, University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland FHNW

About

Our institute is a competence centre for sensor technology, our focus lies in soil and aerosol measurements and the necessary data transfer. We also develop sensing solutions for other applications, mostly based on optical technologies.

The Institute for Sensors and Electronics (FHNW) develops sensor systems that support sustainable agriculture and environmental monitoring, enabling precise soil and air quality management, reduced chemical use, and climate-smart decision-making through Horizon Europe projects like WHEATWATCHER and NITROSCOPE, in which we are currently involved.
