Ecovive

Ecovive is a Polish manufacturer of premium moulded fibre food packaging, made from 100% pure virgin cellulose sourced from FSC-certified Scandinavian forests.

Our product range includes clamshells, trays, lunch boxes, burger boxes, menu boxes, and deep and flat plates — all designed for the foodservice, delivery and catering industry.

What sets us apart from the majority of sustainable packaging on the market:

• Material purity — no PFAS, no coatings, no additives, no inks. Our packaging is as clean as the food it holds.

• Fully recyclable in standard paper waste streams — unlike bagasse, which is compostable only and increasingly problematic under UK EPR (red RAM rating) and EU waste regulations.

• Oven-safe up to 200°C — a capability unique to pure cellulose. Bagasse and PLA fail above 100–120°C.

• Stays rigid for 2–3+ hours with hot, saucy food — where bagasse goes soggy within minutes.

• BRC Food certified — a procurement requirement for UK and EU foodservice chains that most eco-packaging suppliers (including Vegware) do not hold.

• PFAS-free certified — ahead of the EU PPWR ban coming into effect in August 2026.

We produce in the EU (Poland), which means 3–5 day delivery across Europe and a significantly lower carbon footprint compared to Asian-sourced alternatives. We also provide full Scope 3 / carbon footprint documentation for ESG reporting — something 83% of suppliers are unable to deliver.

Ecovive is not a mass-market product. We work with businesses that value real performance, genuine sustainability and premium quality — restaurant chains, contract caterers, airline catering, healthcare, and distributors looking for a next-generation alternative to bagasse.
