About
Our first innovation is the Catrode - a process of turning ordinary stainless steel into high-performance catalysed electrodes, without relying on expensive platinum group metals. Catrodes are robust, low-cost, and can be manufactured at scale. They reduce costs, improve durability, and are compatible with both Alkaline and Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) electrolysers, helping to accelerate the commercial rollout of green hydrogen technologies.
Alongside this, we’re developing SeaStack, the first electrolyser stack designed to run directly on seawater. Built for offshore wind farms, SeaStack avoids the need for desalination and can efficiently convert fluctuating renewable energy. This means more clean energy can be turned into hydrogen where it’s generated, reducing costs and opening new possibilities for large-scale offshore hydrogen production.
Our technologies are aimed at supporting the UK’s hydrogen economy, strengthening supply chains, and contributing to the global transition to net-zero energy.
