Euteknos

RIR Euteknos is the Regional Innovation Network (RIR) for Artistic Manufacturing in the Veneto Region. It is a formal aggregation of companies, universities, research centers, and institutions officially recognized by the Veneto Regional Government, aimed at promoting innovation, collaboration, and competitiveness in the artistic manufacturing sector.

The network was established under Regional Law No. 13/2014 and is part of the Veneto system of Regional Innovation Networks, within the Creative Industries cluster.

Key features of RIR Euteknos

• Purpose: to foster innovation, digitalization, and the integration of traditional craftsmanship with new technologies in artistic manufacturing processes. The network seeks to enhance the aesthetic value and formal quality of products while exploring new market opportunities and innovation pathways.

• Composition: small and medium-sized enterprises operating in artistic manufacturing, along with universities, research and training institutions (such as IUAV University of Venice and the University of Padua), academies, and other public and private stakeholders involved in knowledge creation and innovation.

• Activities and services: research and development, training, innovation consultancy, support for access to regional and European funding opportunities, promotion of collaborative projects, and support for internationalization.

• Concrete projects: initiatives such as Murano 3D, which applies 3D printing technologies to the production of molds for artistic glass, along with other projects focused on technological innovation and sustainability.

• Institutional partnerships: the network collaborates with academic institutions, including IUAV University of Venice, to develop research, education, and new production practices, strengthening the link between academia and artisanal enterprises.
