AECIM

AECIM (Metal Industry Companies Association in Madrid) is a Business Association that supports more than 8,000 companies in different areas: international trade and cooperation, business cooperation, innovation, technology transfer, digital transformation, industry 4.0, sustainability and energy efficiency, tax, law, professional training, employment services, etc.

Additionally, AECIM is a member of:

• Enterprise Europe Network

• European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) - Madrid Region.

• Madrid Automotive Cluster (MCA).

AECIM is a very experienced institution within European projects. We can actively contribute to these projects in different lines of work, such as:

• Creating and distributing surveys and playing a key role in market research;

• Offering valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of digitalization (drawing from its experience in Industry 4.0 initiatives);

• Leading the Dissemination and Communication work package;

• Organising conferences, workshops or webinars (involving company representatives and/or staff from VET centers and universities);

• Monitoring and mentoring the implementation of sub-projects;

• Identifying potential partners at international level during proposal preparation

• Others.

AECIM's task as a member of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) is to support companies in areas such as:

• Internationalisation: helping Madrid companies to achieve international collaboration agreements with foreign companies.

• Innovation: offering expert advice on digitalisation or sustainability strategies.

• Access to finance: providing support on funding opportunities coming from the EU

• Business development

In addition, AECIM promotes participation in B2B events related with Industry 4.0 topics and European R&D projects, as well as encouraging the transfer of technology and knowledge.
