Riverkin is a Swiss water-tech company building a real-time data layer for rivers and watersheds. We exist to help people understand rivers the way we understand the weather: continuously, at scale, and in time to act.

Today, water-related hazards account for around 70% of global natural disasters, yet freshwater remains one of the least digitised components of critical infrastructure. Hydropower operators and insurers still rely on sparse monitoring stations and manual sampling, which cannot capture fast-changing sediment events. This lack of real-time visibility leads to avoidable asset damage, operational downtime, compliance risk, and underestimated flood losses.

Riverkin addresses this gap by delivering continuous, analysis-ready sediment and hydrological data across entire river basins. Our infrastructure enables dense, long-term coverage in locations where traditional monitoring is too slow, too costly, or too fragmented. The data is automatically cleaned and structured to support early warnings, operational decisions, regulatory reporting, and risk modelling.

By replacing fragmented monitoring with a unified river data layer, Riverkin enables practical collaboration across energy, water, insurance, and environmental stakeholders, while building a compounding dataset for long-term freshwater resilience.
