By combining advanced sensing technologies (including acoustic and AI-based material detection), embedded firmware, and a scalable cloud-based platform, Candam digitalises waste collection infrastructure. This allows optimisation of collection logistics, reduction of operational costs, and improved traceability of materials across the recycling value chain. Aligned with European circular economy policies and Spanish waste legislation, Candam’s solutions help public authorities and waste management companies meet increasingly strict recycling targets, reduce landfill dependency, and implement economic instruments such as Pay-As-You-Throw.
