At Halm GmbH, we specialize in prefabricated wooden shell construction with straw infill for residential buildings, creating a modular system for climate‑positive construction. Our approach combines natural, regenerative materials with precision prefabrication to ensure high energy performance, carbon storage, and efficient assembly. We are also developing the infrastructure for regional sustainable building, including a straw rebaler to supply certified straw bales across northern Germany. Serial retrofitting is a key focus, addressing the need for affordable green solutions in existing buildings. At Halm, we see ourselves as part of the Bauwende, contributing to a scalable, regenerative, and climate‑responsible transformation of the building sector for today and future generations.
