Ebb & Flow Keg is a circular wine-in-keg distributor curating sustainable wine experiences for restaurants, bars, hotels, festivals, and events. We replace single-use glass bottles with 100% reusable stainless-steel kegs, reducing CO₂ emissions by up to 40% while improving operational efficiency. Our innovation combines wine sourcing, filling, distribution, and reusable packaging into one closed-loop system. With kegs designed for up to 30 years of use, we manage the full logistics cycle—from cleaning and refilling to return—providing a scalable, low-waste solution for the hospitality industry. Ebb & Flow Keg has been supported by EXIST, Hessen Ideen, and the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU).
Over the past decade, Deandra has worked across various stages of the wine value chain in both Germany and the United States. Through this experience, she recognized a gap in the industry for a minimal-waste approach, leading her to co-found Ebb & Flow Keg, a circular wine distribution company. Its mission: to reimagine a minimal-waste wine supply chain - from grape to table.
Since 2021, Ebb & Flow Keg has curated its own organic wine portfolio exclusively packaged in the company's reusable stainless-steel kegs with the generous support of like-minded winemakers. These kegs are distributed to various on-premise consumption points, including restaurants, bars, concert venues, music festivals, hotels, and more. The company operates at the intersection of multiple facets of the hospitality and beverage industries, serving as a wine portfolio curator and distributor with its own reusable packaging. Deandra's long-term goal is to foster greater inclusivity and diversity within the wine industry across people, packaging, and product offerings.
