At Luniwave, we are setting a new standard in tourism. Instead of punishing guests for overconsumption, they are motivated to set their own goals and policies, making them active, with actions such as asking not to clean their room one night, taking shorter showers, chosing meals with bio and local products, … We believe in a Win As You Save strategy, where customers are granted points for each savings they made, and can spend those points elsewhere in the establishment (a reduction in cocktails, a gift) or donate them to a cause (distribute water to population in need, ...). Our solution is called GreenMiles, and it is a Web-app which lets guests choose ecological actions, then notifies the staff of the actions taken. We combine it with our hardware product, LuniShower, a device we fix in showers to show the number of liters currently used during the shower. This solution help our hotels to diminush by up to 30% their consumption, with more than 90% of guest saying that it improve their stay.
