Responsible for strategy and sales @ REPS.
Background in banking (Erste Group) and Master's degree in Strategic Management & Innovation. Languages: GER, ENG, IT
The REPS system works in three stages: Mechanical → Hydraulic → Electrical Mechanical: Vehicles pass over the street plate which contains low-stroke triggers. The movement is very minimal (≈1 cm perceived) and comparable to a light road unevenness. Hydraulic: Each trigger activates a hydraulic cylinder underneath. The resulting pressure is transmitted via sealed hydraulic lines to a module box located next to the road. Energy conversion: Inside the module box, the hydraulic energy drives a patented mechanical energy converter, based on permanent magnetic bearing - the first and only one of its kind in the world. This converts the impulse into electrical energy with hardly any friction and wear (very long lasting / high durability). Energy that is generated within the energy converter is passed on to a hybrid inverter, which can either store the energy in a battery system, retrieve energy from the battery when required, supply local infrastructure or export surplus power to the grid. All critical and maintenance-relevant components are located outside the road, ensuring maximum durability, easy access and no traffic disruption.
Guided by a strong, success-driven and responsible mindset and a willingness to take calculated risks when the situation calls for it, I am working across strategy, finance and sales to transform complex ideas into commercially viable and highly executable solutions.
As Head of Strategy at REPS, I am significantly contributing to the strategic direction of a climate-tech company transforming roads into powerplants - on a global scale. The role combines strategy development, business model design and market positioning, going hand in hand with clear responsibilities to build and lead a sales-team in the deep- and climate-tech space.
Previous experience includes banking and financial services at Erste Bank Group, one of the leading banks and financial services providers in Europe. Responsibilities spanned consulting startups and later corporates, financial analysis as well as risk management, including regular board-meetings and interactions with senior and executive leadership in a corporate setting.
A completed Master’s degree in Strategic Management from the University of Innsbruck, internationally recognized and ranked #26 worldwide in “Consulting and Strategy” in the Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking 2025, complements a practice-driven and professional background.
