Co-founder @VIVOCarbon, enthusiastic about the gigantic potential of agroforestry to contribute to negative emissions as well as future proofing agriculture
As a non-profit organization, VIVO Carbon implements agroforestry systems in Germany, a combination of agriculture and trees. Agroforestry is widely recognized as a high level measure for negative emissions in combination with climate proofing farm land and landscapes, contributing to landscape cooling and biodiversity. Through focussing on monetizing the carbon effects as well as a build-up on attractive value chains around wood from agroforestry, we are currently scaling agroforestry throughout Europe.
We implement and scale agroforestry systems across Europe, combining agriculture and tree cultivation to sequester carbon, enhance biodiversity, and create resilient landscapes.
