We help municipalities with implementing a more effective urban greening policy. Satellite imagery data, city data, and expert best practices allow us to bring a bold new service to help cities and municipalities implement more effective urban green policies. The 3-30-300 rule is our guiding principle for greener cities, but it's not a magic solution on its own. These targets only work when trees are in good condition: 🌳🌳🌳 3 trees visible from every home 🌳🏙️ 30% canopy cover in every neighborhood 🌳🚶‍♀️300 m maximum distance to quality green space Every year they capture roughly 15 000 tonnes of CO2, reducing heat, improving air quality and strengthening the city’s climate balance. 🛰️ With our UpGreen methodology we turn satellite imagery and on the ground ecosystem data into a detailed carbon map for every district. This allows us to see how productive different tree types are and how much carbon they store across the city. UpGreen also looks at tree stress and survival capacity, which helps the city understand where valuable carbon storing trees may be at risk and where new planting or care will have the biggest impact, not only on mitigation but also on cooling and overall quality of life.

About me

I lead Blue-Green Infrastructure Innovation at ASITIS, focusing on climate adaptation, urban resilience and data-driven green planning. My work bridges satellite Earth Observation data, GIS analytics and practical municipal decision-making.

I co-develop UpGreen and 3-30-300 analyses, transforming Copernicus and spatial data into tree-level insights that help cities prioritise investments, quantify climate risks and measure the cost of inaction.

I work with municipalities, EU-funded consortia and innovation partners across Europe, translating technical capabilities into scalable, commercially viable solutions. My focus is not only on methodology, but on real-world implementation, partnerships and market deployment.
