About
UJI Research Group on Sustainable Polymers and Advanced Materials (BioPIMA) develops custom bio-biased and biodegradable thermoplastics (especially PHAs) as sustainable alternatives to fossil-based plastics in packaging. We cover the full cycle: polymer formulation, processing (extrussion/injection), mechanical and thermal characterization, and biodegradatiion analysis. We're looking for partners interested in eco-innovative packaging solutions and open to co-developing materials validated through compostability and LCA studies.
