✔ Development of protein-rich products, from the creation of new plant sources of proteins (new genetics, new crops,…) to the conception of food products with high consumer acceptance

✔ Support in breeding for protein-rich plant materials containing complementary amino-acids for human health

• Inter- and intra-specific crosses for new trait introgression, especially linked to protein accumulation or amino acid synthesis

• Development of molecular markers to tag genes of interest involved in protein biosynthesis pathways

• Precise plant-by-plant phenotyping, especially protein analysis

✔ Impact of factors on the synthesis of proteins in plants (organ protein allocation, protein types, quantity,…)

• Evaluation of environmental factors, treatments, fertilization etc.

• Understanding mechanisms controlling protein synthesis pathways and storage in plant organs

• Nodulation improvement in legumes
