We are an RTO in the area wood and wood-related renewable resources in Austria. Our core competences are materials research and process technology along the complete value chain, from raw material to finished products, accompanied by sustainability assessment. We develop methods and basics and perform applied research on the economy-science interface, in order to enable resource-efficient management in the circular bioeconomy. We can offer here:

·       LCA, socialLCA, LCC, (including planetary bounderies to depict absolute sustainability) , Market surveys/consumer acceptance (as SSH)

·       development and characterization (mechanical, thermal, FR, artificial weathering, emissions (instrumental up to 30 m³), …) of materials and products

·       digital topics - VR/AR in prefabrication, Big Data, tracing

·       3D FLM printing

·       printed sensors, heatable / sensoric coatings

·       Mock-up with the opportunity of testing products
