The meeting of water with Istanbul was with the transmission lines, cisterns, reservoirs, aqueducts, historical dams and fountains built in the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman periods. The impressive water civilization that has formed has revealed a unique “Historical Water Culture Heritage” in the city.

With this project;

1. Historical water systems belonging to three different periods, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman, in order to protect the “Water Cultural Heritage” in Istanbul; cost-effective restoration, improvement, preservation

2. Incorporating historical water systems into existing water systems and operating them with technically and socially innovative and sustainable solutions

3. Developing a sustainable management plan understanding for historical waterways, providing resource efficiency by integrating a pre-existing source into existing water systems, Working to develop energy-efficient solutions as a result of the fact that historical water systems can be operated with zero energy due to their attractiveness. to be done

4. Establishing a holistic inventory system for water structures and recording them as cultural heritage; It is aimed to establish a decision support system for protection, management and investment programs.
