Nanofiber based proton/anion exchange membrane for fuel cells/electrolyzers

About
Membranes are the heart of both electrolyzer systems where hydrogen is produced and fuel cell systems where electrical energy is produced directly from hydrogen energy. These membranes are high-tech membranes with high added value, and they function similarly to ion exchange membranes. Although high cost is one of the biggest problems in commercial membranes prepared by normal casting method, performance, strength and production sustainability are the features that need to be improved.
So what are we doing? Nanofiber membranes developed with machine learning and artificial intelligence-based performance optimization solutions; will provide up to 10 times higher performance and have a 20% lower cost. Nanofiber membranes that can be used in electrolyzer/fuel cell systems are not PFSA-based, and efforts are being made to minimize their negative effects on the environment.
