The GMD® GmbH, headquartered in Innsbruck (Austria), is a certified GreenTech company and Verified Social Enterprise (VSE) specializing in the development, integration, and deployment of AI‑powered sensor solutions for monitoring natural hazards and critical infrastructure.

Through our GeoSenseAI platform, we combine edge‑computing‑enabled IoT sensors, high‑precision radar technologies, environmental and weather data, satellite and drone imagery, as well as existing GIS information into a unified data hub. Leveraging machine learning algorithms, we enable real‑time detection, analysis, and forecasting of natural hazards such as floods, debris flows, rockfalls, avalanches, and threats to infrastructure.
