About
Research & Development
Living Lab is an urban testbed with the ambition to be a close collaboration between Linnaeus University, other sustainible projects and Emmaboda Municipality. Students and researchers can run field studies, energy measurements and hands-on experiments in IoT, circular resource flows and sustainable building. The house and garden generate real-life data and everyday use cases, turning theory into practice and supporting both short student projects and larger research initiatives. Living Lab can also host demonstrations where prototypes are tested, evaluated and improved together with residents, companies and public actors.
