My organisation
Nord University is a young university with strong regional ties and a global perspective. Nord University was established on 1 January 2016 as a result of a fusion between the University of Nordland, Nesna University College and Nord-Trøndelag University College. The university has 11 300 students and 1400 employees at study locations Bodø, Levanger, Steinkjer, Stjørdal, Mo i Rana, Namsos, Nesna and Vesterålen. Nord University is committed to delivering relevant educational programmes and research, with a focus on blue and green growth, innovation and entrepreneurship, and welfare, health and education. The university has leading research communities within aquaculture, biosciences, innovation and entrepreneurship.
