About
DUSTFLOW is a software tool developed for ESA to reduce contamination risks associated with the launch phase. It can simulate what is happening with particulate contamination under the fairing during the prelaunch and launch phase.
It can predict the final contamination at the orbit, reducing associated risks and margins, increasing reliability, and minimising unnecessary costs related to contamination control.
It covers aspects such as the impact of ventilation and venting, acceleration forces, electrostatic forces, and Brownian motion. It has dedicated models for particle-surface interactions, including the effects of vibration.
CIM-lab can also provide consultancy services based on DUSTFLOW software.
