SME & Clusters Assembly 2026

Welcome to the SME & Clusters Assembly 2026!

For the first time, the SME Assembly and the European Cluster Conference converge into a single flagship event, uniting policymakers, entrepreneurs, cluster managers, investors and innovators under one roof and one shared agenda.

The 2026 Assembly takes place as the European policy debate moves decisively from diagnosis to action. Frameworks addressing the Single Market, industrial competitiveness, and the conditions for business growth are advancing through the EU institutions. Dublin is where the enterprise and clusters community takes stock of progress to date — and helps determine where it goes next.

Policymakers, entrepreneurs, clusters managers, investors, and innovators will take on the questions that matter most: how to open new markets in a volatile world; what AI can mean in practice for a small company without a dedicated technology team; how to build the resilient value chains — including in defence and security — that a more uncertain Europe demands; and what still needs to change to make European business less burdened and more bold.

The Assembly provides dedicated space for both SMEs and clusters to connect, explore partnership opportunities, and do business. Structured sessions will facilitate introductions across sectors and borders, with a focus on lasting working relationships.

The Assembly will also recognise excellence in European enterprise: companies demonstrating the potential of European manufacturing and exports on the global stage, and entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities contributing to the breadth and resilience of Europe’s business ecosystem. The Youth Start-Up Challenge finalists will present responses to some of the most pressing challenges facing Europe’s economy.

We look forward to welcoming you in Dublin and online!
