Powering the Future of Live Events: Breakthrough Clean Energy Solutions for Music Festivals and Events
Sr Open Innovation Expert at REPSOL
BILBAO, Spain
About
We are looking for innovative technological solutions for electricity generation that can be applied to music festivals and events, some of which are located in off-grid or remote environments.
Current solutions already deployed include flexible solar panels, solar trackers, generators powered by renewable fuels, small-scale wind systems, and the replacement of traditional generators with hydrogen-based alternatives. We are seeking new approaches or enhanced versions of these technologies that further strengthen the concept of green, renewable, and innovative energy, with direct applicability to live events and festivals.
Repsol is currently involved in several music festivals, including BBK Live, where we actively participate with a dedicated stage aiming to become fully sustainable. If a proposed solution aligns with our objectives, there is a potential opportunity to develop a pilot project at this festival.
